The song was written during the first Corona lock-down. MARX planned to record their first single in Bristol in the studio of Jim Barr, a member of the Portishead live band they got to know during their tour in Italy. When the lockdown hit, the studio recording, live bookings on the way from Berlin to Bristol and many other things had to be cancellel. All of a sudden plans had to be given up. During this time the whole band turned into another more loose structure. Things fell apart but something new came out ...
